Using OpenAI

Learn how to set up and configure OpenAI services for ChatGPT, TTS, and transcription in Arcania

Navigate to platform.openai.com. On the left hand side, click on the "API Keys" tab. Click on "Create new secret key". Copy the API key and paste it into the settings.

Configuration Steps

ChatGPT Configuration

  1. Set the backend to ChatGPT:

    Settings -> ChatBot -> ChatBot Backend -> ChatGPT

  2. Set the API key:

    Settings -> ChatBot -> ChatGPT -> OpenAI API Key

TTS Configuration

  1. Set the backend to OpenAI:

    Settings -> Text-To-Speech > TTS Backend -> OpenAI TTS

  2. Set the API key:

    Settings -> Text-To-Speech > OpenAI -> API Key

Transcription Configuration

  1. Set the backend to Whisper (OpenAI):

    Settings -> Speech-to-Text > STT Backend -> Whisper (OpenAI)

  2. Set the API key:

    Settings -> Speech-to-Text > Whisper (OpenAI) -> API Key
